Okemos - East Lansing - Downtown Lansing
To get back to Okemos from East Lansing or MSU Campus
1. Starting from Albert and Abbott, turn left onto Albert. From Albert, veer left onto Ann St.
Take Ann St. to Collingwood.
2. Turn right onto Collingwood, take north to Physics Drive.
3. Veer left onto Physics Drive, then veer left again onto Dormitory Rd.
4. Take Dormitory road southeast to Bogue.
5. Turn right onto Bogue, take south to Service Dr.
6. Take Service Drive west to Farm Road.
7. Turn left onto Farm Road, take south to Forest Road.
8. Turn left onto Forest Road, take east to Beaumont.
9. Turn right onto Beaumont, take south to Bennett.
10. Turn left onto Bennett, take east. Bennett becomes Kinawa.
To get back to Okemos from downtown Lansing
1. From 119 N. Washington Square, turn right onto Washington, take Washington south to Elm.
2. Turn left onto Elm St, take to the "Cedar Link" where the River Trail crosses Elm.
3. At the "Cedar Link", you have 2 options:
6. Turn left onto Forest Road, take east to Beaumont.
7. Turn right onto Beaumont, take south to Bennett.
8. Turn left onto Bennett, take east. Bennett becomes Kinawa.
1. Starting from Albert and Abbott, turn left onto Albert. From Albert, veer left onto Ann St.
Take Ann St. to Collingwood.
2. Turn right onto Collingwood, take north to Physics Drive.
3. Veer left onto Physics Drive, then veer left again onto Dormitory Rd.
4. Take Dormitory road southeast to Bogue.
5. Turn right onto Bogue, take south to Service Dr.
6. Take Service Drive west to Farm Road.
7. Turn left onto Farm Road, take south to Forest Road.
8. Turn left onto Forest Road, take east to Beaumont.
9. Turn right onto Beaumont, take south to Bennett.
10. Turn left onto Bennett, take east. Bennett becomes Kinawa.
To get back to Okemos from downtown Lansing
1. From 119 N. Washington Square, turn right onto Washington, take Washington south to Elm.
2. Turn left onto Elm St, take to the "Cedar Link" where the River Trail crosses Elm.
3. At the "Cedar Link", you have 2 options:
- 3a. Get on the Lansing River Trail by turning right from Elm onto the trail. The trail loops
south along the river, goes over Cedar and Pennsylvania, and continues along the river at
Potter Park.
3b. Stay on Elm Street and cross Cedar, which goes straight across Elm instead of looping
south along the river. If you stay on Elm you will cross Cedar and end up back on the trail at
Potter Park.
Both of these options get you to the same place-- the River Trail at Potter Park.
6. Turn left onto Forest Road, take east to Beaumont.
7. Turn right onto Beaumont, take south to Bennett.
8. Turn left onto Bennett, take east. Bennett becomes Kinawa.
