The Smart Commute ’09 Challenge will take place

- Bicycling.
- Walking.
- Carpooling.
- Riding the bus.
- Any other mode of transportation besides single-occupant
vehicle.
Companies whose employees make the greatest smart commuting
efforts throughout the week will win special prizes and awards, to be
presented during the week of June 2.
This year's prizes include green bikes from MSU Bikes, company
bagel parties, tote bags, and more!

size categories listed below, which would be the total number of
employees in your company, or department, or division, or unit.
Your team captain will be the person who registers your group, and
they will receive a tally sheet and poster sign-in sheet.
Smart Commuters sign in on the poster, or with the team captain,
each day that they Smart Commute. Team captains divide the
number of Smart Commuters by total employees. Each day team
captains will send in the results to Smart Commute '09.
Winners will be those groups that have the highest cumulative
percentage of Smart Commuters (out of total employees in the
company, department, division, unit) for the week.
Participating individuals names' will be drawn to win prizes.
