Individuals and organizations interested in making the Lanisng region more walkable and bike-friendly are cordially invited to join the Walk Bike Task Force which means on the second Tuesday of every month at Foster Community Center. No RSVP necessary. Bring your lunch as we meet from 12pm - 1:30pm. The meeting is chaired by John Lindenmayer (Mid-MEAC Board & League of Michigan Bicyclists) and Andy Kilpatrick with the City of Lansing. We discuss wide ranging issues from the Non-Motorized Plan to Complete Streets to the Walkability Audit. The group is non-partisan but supports positive positions on policies that make our community more walking and bike friendly.
