Become a Member!
There are so many ways you can become a Mid-MEAC member or renew your existing
membership!
- Provide a year-end Mid-MEAC donation in November or December, as a gift to yourself or
to someone else. All donations to Mid-MEAC are tax-deductible, and many donors like to
take advantage of year-end giving to increase their annual tax-deductible donation
amount.
- Host a Fundraiser!
One of the best ways to support Mid-MEAC is to introduce us to your friends! If you are
interested in hosting a Mid-MEAC House Party, Garden Party, or other fundraiser, please
contact Bethany Renfer at BethanyRMattF@yahoo.com or 648-3533.

Student Internships
Mid-MEAC works with self-motivated students who want to gain experience in designing and
implementing environmental and community projects at the grassroots level. Most internships are
unpaid, except in cases where the student is able to obtain outside funding for their position. Mid-
MEAC does works with students to apply for grants or other sources to fund their positions with
advance notice. Mid-MEAC provides project ideas for students and encourages students to bring
forward their own ideas as well. If you are interested in an internship position at Mid-MEAC, send a
cover letter and resume to jessicayorko@sustainablesolutions.biz. Be sure to clearly state your
area of interest, your skills, and your career aspirations.
