Featured Speaker: Marie Donigan, former State Representative. highway-constructionDonigan served three terms in the Michigan House of Representatives where she focused on the development of good transportation policy. She formed and chaired the Subcommittee on Public Transit.

Her first presentation at Land Use lunch is still remembered as the closest we’ve ever come to standup comedy. Marie’s a funny and passionate speaker on the subject of fair transportation planning.

Since leaving the Legislature, Marie has worked on a variety of projects, notably with the Harriet Tubman Center’s Transit Project. She has a Masters of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania.
